I love squats! They're one of my favorite exercises! There are so many great variations that you can do with or without equipment. Today my workout was a big mix of squats! Here it is:
Warm Up: 1 mile run
4 sets of 8-10 reps of the following
1. Single Leg Squats w/ back foot on a bench
2. Hop Squats
3. Plank (this gives your legs a little rest. Try to hold for 1 minute)
4. Regular squats w/ Olympic bar on shoulders (100 LBS total) - you can put a kid on your shoulders, mamas ;-)
5. Farmer squat w/ 25LBS in each hand
Then, do a Burn out set of push-ups... and repeat the cycle for a total of 4 sets.
