WORKING OUT WHEN YOU'RE SICK ISN'T ALWAYS BAD.
When you're feeling rundown or sick, listen to you body to decide wether you should workout. Typically, exercising with a cold is okay, but if you have fever, skip the gym.
Exercising raises your body temperature internally, so it will add to a fever which can make you sicker. If you have a fever greater than 101 degrees Fahrenheit, sit one out. If the sickness is in your head (stuffy nose, sore throat) it's okay to do a light workout. However, if it's in your chest, get rest.
Do what you can do, and if you can't do it, then don't. Most people who are fit tend to feel worse if they don't exercise even while sick, but if you can't lift your head off the pillow, chances are you won't want to go run around the block.
