A big fitness misconceptions is that you need to go to the gym, do weight machines and plug away on the elliptical for 30-60 minutes. That's so not true! In fact, with my clients I almost never use machines. I'm big on plyometrics, balancing and total body exercises. It's all about maximizing your workouts... push hard and get out fast. Skip the slow-paced cardio and do intense/crazy cardio for 1/2 the time.
