Isn't it cool?! It might not be anything new to you, but I just got this "Veggetti" and I'm lovin' it! You can make healthy veggie noodles in minutes! They're delicious... without the carbs, calories and bloated feeling! Tonight, I'm making zucchini noodles with lean beef marinara sauce.
VEGGETTI WITH BEEF
What you need:
2-3 large zucchini
1 small sweet onion
1 small green bell pepper
1LB 90/10 ground beef or turkey
1 C low sugar marinara (I like Trader Joe's brand)
oregano, sea salt, basil, pepper to taste
How to:
Wash zucchini. Use your "Veggetti" to make your "zoodles"... haha, that's fun ;-) Set aside. Spray a skillet with calorie-free spray. Add in chopped onion and pepper. Cook 5-10 minutes. Add in meat and seasonings. Cook until meat is done. Add in sauce & simmer. In the meantime, steam your "zoodles" (you can eat raw, but I prefer cooked).
Serve "zoodles" topped with meat mixture... YUM
