SMALL CHANGES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE
Making small changes and substitutions in your diet will do a lot for your health! Here are some easy swaps...
Use spinach instead of iceberg
Wheat instead of white (this goes for bread, pasta, rice, crackers, etc.)
Get white chicken meat instead of dark (At restaurants you can request this. If it's a breast, you're fine, but in rice bowls the meat is usually dark.)
Get grilled, instead of fried (again, ASK! Restaurants will change the preparation.)
Get a small instead of regular or large.
Get extra veggies, a side salad, fruit or cottage cheese as a side instead of french fries, buttery/cheesy potatoes, chips or pasta/potato salad.
